This Alajeuala 38 is hull # AYC8T0410676 and was sold as a kit in 1976 by Alajuela Yacht Corporation.

It remained in storage all these years until Jack Wilbur purchased it in 2005 and began to build it from the ground up.

Until its recent launch in November 2008, it had never seen the water.
